  شارك عميد كلية الصيدلة - جامعة النهرين الأستاذ الدكتور حيدر بهاء صاحب في رئاسة تحرير الإصدار الثالث من دليل الأدوية العراقي لعام 2024-2025 الذي أصدره مركز الدكتور سامر نوري للنشر العلمي (DSNC)   يهدف الدليل إلى توفير مرجع علمي شامل وموثوق يحتوي على معلومات دقيقة ومحدثة عن الأدوية المعتمدة والمسجلة في العراق ويأتي الإصدار لدعم العاملين في القطاع الصحي من أطباء وصيادلة وتعزيز الاستخدام الآمن والفعال للأدوية بما يساهم في تحسين جودة الرعاية الصحية في العراق   تضمن الدليل تقديم معلومات شاملة حول 572 دواء تشمل الاسم العلمي والتجاري والجرعات والمؤشرات العلاجية والتداخلات الدوائية والآثار الجانبية وتصنيف الأدوية باستخدام نظام ATC (التشريحي العلاجي الكيميائي) المعتمد عالميًا وإرشادات خاصة تتعلق بتصنيف الأدوية أثناء الحمل وتوصيات لتعديل الجرعات في حالات القصور الكبدي أو الكلوي وملاحق تعليمية مثل آليات عمل الأدوية وجرعات الأطفال.    قسم الإعلام والاتصال الحكومي رئاسة جامعة النهرين    Dean of the College of Pharmacy at Al-Nahrain University Leads the Editing of the Iraqi Drug Guide 2024-2025   The Dean of the College of Pharmacy at Al-Nahrain University, Professor Dr. Haider Bahaa Sahib, participated in leading the editing of the third edition of the Iraqi Drug Guide for the years 2024-2025, issued by the Dr. Samer Nouri Center for Scientific Publishing (DSNC).   The guide aims to provide a comprehensive and reliable scientific reference containing accurate and up-to-date information about drugs approved and registered in Iraq. The publication is intended to support healthcare professionals, including doctors and pharmacists, and promote the safe and effective use of medications, thereby contributing to the improvement of healthcare quality in Iraq.   The guide includes comprehensive information about 572 drugs, covering their scientific and trade names, dosages, therapeutic indications, drug interactions, and side effects. ناقشت كلية هندسة المعلومات في جامعة النهرين رسالة ماجستير بعنوان “تحسين أداء شبكات الطاقة المستدامة الصغيرة باستخدام استراتيجيات SCADA”، للطالبة ضحى فرج كاظم.   تضمنت الدراسة تقديم طرق مبتكرة لتحسين الأداء الكلي للشبكات الدقيقة المرتبطة بالشبكات العامة، من خلال تنسيق الشبكات الدقيقة المتعددة وإدارة الطاقة الفائضة المنتجة من مصادر مختلفة. كما سلطت الضوء على دور أنظمة SCADA في تحسين كفاءة الطاقة، تعزيز الأمن الطاقي، وتقليل المخاطر البيئية.   وأوضحت الرسالة أن هذه الشبكات تمثل نموذجًا متكاملًا تقنيًا ومرنًا لمواجهة تحديات الطاقة، مع الإشارة إلى أهمية دمج الأجهزة الإلكترونية للطاقة ومصادر الطاقة المتجددة لزيادة كفاءة الأنظمة وتطوير بنيتها الذكية.   قسم الاعلام والاتصال الحكومي  رئاسة جامعة النهرين      Master’s Thesis at Al-Nahrain University Discusses Improving the Performance of Small Sustainable Energy Grids Using SCADA Strategies   The College of Information Engineering at Al-Nahrain University discussed a Master’s thesis titled “Improving the Performance of Small Sustainable Energy Grids Using SCADA Strategies” by Doha Faraj Kazem.   The study presented innovative methods to improve the overall performance of microgrids connected to the public grid, through coordinating multiple microgrids and managing excess energy produced from various sources. It also highlighted the role of SCADA systems in enhancing energy efficiency, improving energy security, and reducing environmental risks.   The thesis explained that these grids represent a technically integrated and flexible model to address energy challenges, emphasizing the importance of integrating power electronics and renewable energy sources to improve system efficiency and develop smart grid infrastructure.   Department of Media and Government Communication Office of the President of Al-Nahrain University

  نظمت كلية العلوم في جامعة النهرين ورشة عمل علمية بعنوان “تركيب الكانيولا وفحص الأشعة والسونار” بالتعاون مع شركة عرين الأشهب الطبية، بحضور طلبة الكلية والخريجين.   قدم الورشة السيد حسام هادي الركابي، ممثل الشركة، حيث استعرض شرحًا تفصيليًا حول آليات تركيب الكانيولا وتقنيات الفحص باستخدام أجهزة الأشعة والسونار، مع تقديم تطبيقات عملية تهدف إلى تعزيز مهارات الطلبة.   وأشادت عميدة الكلية، الأستاذة الدكتورة أسماء هادي محمد، بجهود الفريق التدريبي وما قدموه من معلومات قيمة، مشيرةً إلى أهمية استمرار التعاون مع الشركة لتنظيم المزيد من الورش والفعاليات التي تسهم في تطوير خبرات الطلبة وتأهيلهم للمجالات العملية.   تميزت الورشة بتفاعل كبير من الطلبة، الذين أشادوا بمحتواها وأهميتها في تعزيز مهاراتهم العلمية والعملية، معبرين عن تطلعهم للمزيد من الورش المماثلة التي تفتح لهم آفاقًا جديدة في سوق العمل الطبي.   قسم الاعلام والاتصال الحكومي  رئاسة جامعة النهرين      The College of Science at Al-Nahrain University Hosts a Medical Workshop on Cannula Insertion and Radiology and Ultrasound Examination   The College of Science at Al-Nahrain University organized a scientific workshop titled “Cannula Insertion and Radiology and Ultrasound Examination” in collaboration with Areen Al-Ashhab Medical Company, attended by students and alumni of the college.   The workshop was presented by Mr. Hossam Hadi Al-Rikabi, a representative of the company, who provided a detailed explanation on the mechanisms of cannula insertion and examination techniques using radiology and ultrasound devices, along with practical applications aimed at enhancing students’ skills.   The Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Asmaa Hadi Mohammed, praised the efforts of the training team and the valuable information they delivered, emphasizing the importance of continued cooperation with the company to organize more workshops and activities that contribute to developing students’ expertise and preparing them for practical fields.   The workshop was characterized by strong interaction from the students, who expressed their appreciation for its content and its importance in enhancing their academic and practical skills. They also voiced their eagerness for more similar workshops that would open new opportunities for them in the medical job market.

The annual event aims to honor scientists and innovators in various academic and technical fields.   The ceremony was attended by the President of Al-Nahrain University, Prof. Dr. Ali Abdulaziz Al-Shawi, who expressed his pride in the university’s achievements. He emphasized that these awards reflect the efforts of the university’s academic and research staff, who continuously strive to enhance its scientific stature and leadership role in advancing higher education in Iraq. Also in attendance was the university’s Assistant President for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Dr. Omar Farouk Abdul Rashid, who received the Baghdad Journal Award for Biochemistry and Applied Life Sciences.   استضافت كلية الحقوق في جامعة النهرين فعاليات النسخة الأولى من الامتحان التنافسي الإلكتروني لجائزة الإبداع والتميز، المخصصة للطلبة الأوائل من خريجي كليات القانون للعام الدراسي 2023-2024. جرى الامتحان بإشراف الأستاذ الدكتور ميري الخيكاني، رئيس لجنة عمداء كليات القانون وعميد كلية القانون في جامعة بابل، واشراف الأستاذ الدكتور فراس عبد الرزاق حمزة، عميد كلية الحقوق في جامعة النهرين.   شارك في الامتحان (94) طالباً من مختلف الجامعات العراقية، حيث تم تنظيمه باستخدام نظام الامتحانات الإلكترونية (MCQ) لضمان النزاهة والشفافية، وتهيئة بيئة تنافسية عادلة لجميع المشاركين.   تهدف هذه الجائزة إلى دعم الطلبة المتميزين من الأوائل، وتشجيع التفوق الأكاديمي، وتعزيز روح التنافس الإيجابي، إلى جانب تطوير المهارات العلمية والمهنية للطلبة. كما تهدف إلى تقويم العملية التعليمية في كليات القانون العراقية، بما يسهم في تحسين جودة التعليم القانوني وإعداد جيل مؤهل لمواجهة التحديات القانونية والمهنية.   وأشاد القائمون على الجائزة بالدور الريادي لكلية الحقوق في جامعة النهرين في استضافة هذه الفعالية، التي تعكس التزامها بدعم الكفاءات الوطنية والمساهمة في تطوير التعليم القانوني.   قسم الإعلام والاتصال الحكومي  رئاسة جامعة النهرين      Al-Nahrain Law Hosts the First Edition of the Creativity and Excellence Award Exam with the Participation of 94 Top Students from Iraqi Universities   The College of Law at Al-Nahrain University hosted the first edition of the competitive electronic exam for the Creativity and Excellence Award, dedicated to the top-ranking graduates from law colleges for the academic year 2023-2024. The exam was supervised by Prof. Dr. Miri Al-Khaikani, Head of the Committee of Law Deans and Dean of the College of Law at the University of Babylon, and Prof. Dr. Firas Abdul-Razzaq Hamza, Dean of the College of Law at Al-Nahrain University.   A total of 94 students from various Iraqi universities participated in the exam, which was conducted using the electronic MCQ system. This method ensured fairness, transparency, and the creation of a competitive environment for all participants.   The award aims to support outstanding top-ranking students, encourage academic excellence, promote a spirit of positive competition, and enhance students’ academic and professional skills.   بتوجيه ودعم من قبل السيد رئيس الجامعة الاستاذ الدكتور علي عبد العزيز الشاوي، اختتم قسم الإعلام والاتصال الحكومي في جامعة النهرين دورة تدريبية متخصصة بعنوان “تطوير الإعلام المؤسسي”، استمرت لمدة خمسة أيام بمشاركة مسؤولي شعب الإعلام في كليات الجامعة ومراكزها البحثية. شهدت الدورة حضور السيد رئيس جامعة النهرين، الاستاذ الدكتور علي عبد العزيز الشاوي، والسيد مساعد رئيس الجامعة للشؤون العلمية، الاستاذ الدكتور عمر فاروق ومدير قسم الجودة والأداء الجامعي الاستاذ المساعد الدكتور زيد ثابت.   هدفت الدورة إلى تعزيز مهارات العاملين في الإعلام المؤسسي، وتمكينهم من اكتساب معارف متقدمة في النشر الإعلامي، التواصل الفعّال، وإدارة المحتوى الإعلامي. كما ركزت على تطوير مهارات الكتابة الصحفية وصياغة الأخبار للمواقع الإلكترونية، إلى جانب تقنيات التصوير وإعداد التقارير الإعلامية.   تضمنت الدورة مجموعة من المحاضرات النظرية والعملية. قدمت مدير قسم الإعلام والاتصال الحكومي، الدكتورة هند سعيد أسود، محاضرات تناولت محاور أساسية حول الإعلام المؤسسي الحديث. وشملت الجلسات التطبيقية تدريبات عملية في التحرير والتصوير، حيث ألقى المصور دارم إياد والمصور أحمد صبيح والمصور زكريا يحيى محاضرات عن أساسيات التصوير الفوتوغرافي وتقنيات إنتاج الصور عالية الجودة. كما شارك المدرس المساعد أمير غازي والسيدة إسراء عبد الكريم في تقديم محاضرات حول كتابة الأخبار الصحفية وآليات تحريرها.   يأتي تنظيم هذه الدورة في إطار جهود جامعة النهرين لتعزيز كفاءة كوادرها الإعلامية، بما يتماشى مع استراتيجيتها لتعزيز الحضور الإعلامي للجامعة وترسيخ هويتها المؤسسية.   قسم الاعلام والاتصال الحكومي رئاسة جامعة النهرين      Al-Nahrain University Concludes Institutional Media Development Workshop   Under the guidance and support of the University President, Prof. Dr. Ali Abdulaziz Al-Shawi, the Media and Government Communication Department at Al-Nahrain University concluded a specialized training workshop titled “Institutional Media Development.” The five-day workshop included the participation of media unit officers from the university’s colleges and research centers.   بحثت رسالة ماجستير في كلية الحقوق بجامعة النهرين بعنوان “التجسس الإلكتروني وأثره في الأمن المعلوماتي” للطالبة نور ماجد عواد.   هدفت الدراسة إلى تسليط الضوء على مفهوم التجسس الإلكتروني كأحد المصطلحات الحديثة التي بدأت الدول الاعتماد عليها بدلاً من أساليب التجسس التقليدية، من خلال استخدام الحاسوب والتطورات التكنولوجية.   بينت الدراسة الفرق بين التجسس التقليدي والتجسس الإلكتروني، مع التركيز على مخاطره وتأثيره على السلم والأمن الدوليين. كما استعرضت موقف القواعد القانونية الدولية تجاه هذه الجريمة.   أوضحت الدراسة أيضًا مفهوم التجسس الإلكتروني وآثاره على الأمن المعلوماتي، إلى جانب الجهود الدولية المبذولة لمكافحة هذه الجريمة وموقف القانون العراقي منها.   قسم الإعلام والاتصال الحكومي رئاسة جامعة النهرين   Master’s Thesis at Al-Nahrain University Examines Cyber Espionage and Its Impact on Information Security   A master’s thesis titled “Cyber Espionage and Its Impact on Information Security” was presented by student Noor Majid Awad at the College of Law, Al-Nahrain University.   The study aimed to highlight the concept of cyber espionage as a modern term that countries have increasingly relied on instead of traditional espionage methods, through the use of computers and technological advancements.   The study outlined the differences between traditional espionage and cyber espionage, focusing on the risks and impacts of cyber espionage on international peace and security. It also reviewed the international legal frameworks’ stance on this crime.   Additionally, the study clarified the concept of cyber espionage, its effects on information security, the international efforts to combat this crime, and the position of Iraqi law regarding it.   Media and Public Relations Department Al-Nahrain University Presidency

The agreement was signed by the Dean of the College of Science at Al-Nahrain University, Prof. Dr. Asmaa Hadi Mohammed, and the Dean of Duhok University College, Prof. Dr. Alaa Karim Mohammed.   The agreement aims to enhance academic and research integration between the two colleges by developing curricula and standardizing study plans for corresponding disciplines, in addition to exchanging academic and administrative experiences.   شاركت معاون عميد كلية التقنيات الأحيائية للشؤون الإدارية في جامعة النهرين، الأستاذ المساعد الدكتور سامية خليل محمود، في فعاليات الملتقى الوطني للبيئة ومعالجة تحديات الاحتباس الحراري في العراق، الذي نظمه مركز حسن للدراسات الاستراتيجية. وقد قدمت خلال الملتقى بحثاً علمياً بعنوان “الاحتباس الحراري للبيئة في العراق: الواقع والمعالجات”.   تناول البحث التحديات البيئية الخطيرة التي تواجه العراق نتيجة ظاهرة الاحتباس الحراري، مثل ارتفاع درجات الحرارة، زيادة معدلات الجفاف، وتأثيرات هذه الظاهرة على الصحة العامة والموارد البيئية. ركزت الدراسة على تحليل العوامل الرئيسية المسببة للاحتباس الحراري، مع دراسة الآثار البيئية والصحية الناجمة عن تغير المناخ في العراق، كما قدمت حلولاً عملية تهدف إلى تقليل الأضرار الناتجة عن هذه التحديات.   توصل البحث إلى مجموعة من النتائج المهمة، منها الحاجة الملحة لاعتماد سياسات بيئية مستدامة لمواجهة التغير المناخي، والحد من الإفراط في استخدام الوقود الأحفوري، الذي يشكل العامل الرئيسي في تفاقم الظاهرة. كما شدد على أهمية تعزيز الوعي المجتمعي بأثر التغير المناخي على الصحة العامة، مع تفعيل دور المؤسسات البيئية في تنفيذ مشاريع تهدف إلى الحد من آثار الاحتباس الحراري.   قسم الاعلام والاتصال الحكومي  رئاسة جامعة النهرين   Faculty Member from the College of Biotechnology Publishes Research on Global Warming in Iraq   Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs at the College of Biotechnology, Al-Nahrain University, Assistant Professor Dr. Samia Khalil Mahmoud, participated in the National Forum on the Environment and Challenges of Global Warming in Iraq, organized by the Hassan Center for Strategic Studies. During the forum, she presented a scientific paper titled “Global Warming and the Environment in Iraq: Reality and Solutions.”   The research addressed the serious environmental challenges Iraq faces due to global warming, including rising temperatures, increased drought rates, and the impacts of these phenomena on public health and environmental resources. The study analyzed the key factors contributing to global warming, examined the environmental and health consequences of climate change in Iraq, and proposed practical solutions to mitigate the damage caused by these challenges.   The findings highlighted the urgent need for adopting sustainable environmental policies to combat climate change and reduce excessive reliance on fossil fuels, a primary driver of the issue. This method provides protection against environmental and atmospheric disturbances while improving data transmission efficiency through modern techniques like Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM).   The study involved simulation tests of the OptiFusion method under varying weather conditions and different propagation distances. Results demonstrated the method’s ability to enhance the security of FSO communications with high flexibility to withstand both minor and severe disturbances.   ناقشت رسالة ماجستير في قسم علوم الحاسوب بكلية العلوم في جامعة النهرين، بعنوان “تعزيز نظام توصية خدمة الرعاية الصحية الآمنة باستخدام الحوسبة الضبابية”، قدمها الطالب علي فاضل صالح.   هدفت الدراسة إلى تطوير نظام ذكي لتوصية الأدوية يعتمد على مراحل متعددة لتحليل البيانات وتحسين دقة التوصيات وضمان سرية بيانات المرضى، مما يسهم في دعم القرارات الطبية بشكل فعال وآمن.   تضمنت الدراسة تصميم نموذج يتألف من أربع مراحل رئيسية، شملت المرحلة الأولى معالجة البيانات المستخلصة من مراجعات المرضى لتجهيزها للمعالجة اللاحقة. في المرحلة الثانية، تم تطبيق تقنيات تحليل المشاعر باستخدام نماذج تعلم عميق مثل الشبكات العصبية التلافيفية (CNN)، والذاكرة طويلة المدى (LSTM)، والذاكرة ثنائية الاتجاه (BiLSTM)، بالإضافة إلى أدوات تحليل مشاعر تعتمد على القواعد مثل VADER وTextBlob. استُخدمت الحوسبة الضبابية في المرحلة الثالثة لتحسين كفاءة استهلاك الطاقة وضمان حماية البيانات، بينما ركزت المرحلة الأخيرة على تقديم توصيات دوائية آمنة باستخدام خوارزمية معيار التشفير المتقدم (AES).   توصلت الدراسة إلى أن نموذج الشبكات العصبية التلافيفية (CNN) حقق دقة عالية تجاوزت 90%، حيث بلغ مقياس F1 نحو 0.9300، متفوقاً على النماذج الأخرى مثل LSTM وBiLSTM التي حققت دقة بلغت 0.8784 و0.8814 على التوالي. كما أثبتت خوارزمية AES كفاءتها في حماية البيانات من خلال تحسين جودة التشفير. تعكس النتائج تفوق نماذج التعلم العميق على الأساليب التقليدية، مما يجعل النظام المقترح أداة فعالة ودقيقة لتحسين الرعاية الصحية.   قسم الاعلام والاتصال الحكومي رئاسة جامعة النهرين    Master’s Thesis at the College of Science Discusses Enhancing Healthcare Recommendation Systems Using Fog Computing   A Master’s thesis in the Department of Computer Science at the College of Science, Al-Nahrain University, titled “Enhancing Secure Healthcare Recommendation Systems Using Fog Computing,” was presented by the student Ali Fadhil Saleh.   The study aimed to develop an intelligent drug recommendation system based on a multi-stage process to analyze data, improve recommendation accuracy, and ensure patient data confidentiality, thereby supporting medical decision-making effectively and securely.   The research introduced a model consisting of four main stages. The first stage involved processing patient review data to prepare it for subsequent analysis. The second stage applied sentiment analysis techniques using deep learning models such as Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN), Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM), and Bidirectional LSTM (BiLSTM), as well as rule-based sentiment analysis tools like VADER and TextBlob. The third stage utilized fog computing to enhance energy efficiency and ensure data protection, while the final stage focused on providing secure drug recommendations using the Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) algorithm.   The findings revealed that the CNN model achieved a high accuracy rate exceeding 90%, with an F1 score of 0.9300, outperforming other models such as LSTM and BiLSTM, which achieved accuracies of 0.8784 and 0.8814, respectively. Additionally, the AES algorithm demonstrated its efficiency in securing data by improving encryption quality.   أقام فرع علم الأدوية في كلية الطب، بالتعاون مع وحدة التعليم المستمر، ورشة عمل حضورية بعنوان “التقنيات المختلفة لجمع عينات الدم من الحيوانات المختبرية” للفترة من 24 إلى 26 كانون الأول 2024.   هدفت الورشة إلى تمكين المشاركين من الإلمام بطرق جمع الدم المختلفة، واختيار الطريقة المناسبة للتجارب، وتحديد كميات الدم المطلوبة وفقًا للنماذج الحيوانية المستخدمة، بما يعزز من دقة النتائج العلمية.   بينت الورشة أحدث التقنيات المستخدمة في جمع عينات الدم من الحيوانات المختبرية، التي تعد أداة أساسية في الأبحاث الطبية الحيوية والتعليم. وركزت الورشة على دور هذه التقنيات في تقييم الاستجابات العلاجية، وإثبات فعالية النماذج الحيوانية في الدراسات العلمية، إلى جانب تطوير تقنيات صناعية جديدة في صناعة الأدوية وتطبيقها في الجوانب العملية لطلبة الدراسات الأولية والعليا.   استعرضت الورشة محاور عدة، أبرزها تحسين تقنيات جمع الدم باستخدام الوسائل غير الجراحية كالأشعة تحت الحمراء والموجات فوق الصوتية، وتطوير أدوات حديثة مثل الإبر الدقيقة والأجهزة التلقائية، وتحسين بروتوكولات التخدير، بالإضافة إلى استخدام التقنيات البيومترية لتقييم الإجهاد أثناء عملية جمع الدم. كما ركزت على تعزيز المعايير الأخلاقية لضمان رفاهية الحيوانات والتزام القوانين والمعايير في البحث العلمي.   قسم الإعلام والاتصال الحكومي رئاسة جامعة النهرين    College of Medicine Holds Workshop on Blood Sampling Techniques from Laboratory Animals   The Department of Pharmacology at the College of Medicine, in collaboration with the Continuing Education Unit, held an in-person workshop titled “Various Techniques for Collecting Blood Samples from Laboratory Animals” from December 24 to 26, 2024.   The workshop aimed to equip participants with knowledge of different blood sampling methods, the ability to select appropriate techniques for experiments, and determine the required blood volumes based on the laboratory animal models used, enhancing the accuracy of scientific results.   The workshop showcased the latest techniques in collecting blood samples from laboratory animals, which are essential tools in biomedical research and education. It highlighted the role of these techniques in evaluating therapeutic responses, validating animal models in scientific studies, and developing new industrial technologies in pharmaceutical production, as well as their application in practical training for undergraduate and postgraduate students.   Several key topics were addressed, including improving blood collection methods using non-invasive technologies such as infrared imaging and ultrasound to locate blood vessels, developing advanced tools like micro-needles and automated devices, enhancing anesthesia protocols, and utilizing biometric techniques to assess stress during blood collection. She presented a scientific paper titled “The Criminal Confrontation of Hate Speech,” which aligns with the conference’s theme: “Law as an Effective Tool to Address Contemporary Challenges.”   The paper addressed the legislative handling of various crimes resulting from hate speech, highlighting the importance of confronting such speech through appropriate criminal laws enacted by the Iraqi legislature.   The study also emphasized the balance between the right to freedom of expression, as affirmed by international covenants and constitutional texts, and the risks posed by hate speech, which may incite or promote hatred against any societal group. In his speech, he emphasized that scholars represent the leaders of the future, noting that the scholarship experience is a positive model capable of development and contributes to the advancement of Iraqi universities. He added that the university is working to harness this potential to enhance higher education in line with its vision for academic and research excellence.   For his part, the university’s assistant president for scientific affairs, Professor Dr. Omar Farouq, stated that the forum represents a fundamental step toward enhancing the role of scholars in supporting educational and research processes. He stressed the importance of leveraging the expertise gained during their postgraduate studies abroad and transforming it into research projects and development programs that address the needs of the academic community.   Dr. Hassan Musa Al-Moussawi, the director of the Department of Cultural Relations, added that the forum reflects the university’s vision of strengthening cultural and scientific ties with global institutions.   استضافت كلية العلوم في جامعة النهرين مهرجان “عباءتي” الرابع، الذي نظمته العتبة العلوية المقدسة، بمناسبة ذكرى ولادة السيدة فاطمة الزهراء (ع).   أعربت السيدة عميد كلية العلوم الأستاذة الدكتورة أسماء هادي محمد عن سعادتها بهذه المناسبة الكريمة، مشيدةً بالجهود المبذولة في تنظيم المهرجان، وأكدت أهمية التمسك بالقيم النبيلة التي تمثلها السيدة الزهراء (ع).   كما ألقى سماحة الشيخ عبد السادة الجابري، ممثل العتبة العلوية المقدسة، كلمة تحدث فيها عن مآثر السيدة الزهراء (ع) ودورها في المجتمع الإسلامي، داعيًا الحاضرين للاقتداء بخصالها العظيمة.   تم تكريم منتسبات وطالبات كلية العلوم اللواتي يرتدين العباءة، تقديرًا لهن على التزامهن بالقيم الإسلامية الأصيلة.   يهدف المهرجان إلى تعزيز قيم العفة والاقتداء بأهل البيت (ع)، وتأكيد على أهمية الحفاظ على التراث الإسلامي والمبادئ السامية في الحياة اليومية.   قسم الإعلام والاتصال الحكومي رئاسة جامعة النهرين    Al-Nahrain University’s College of Science Hosts the Fourth “My Abaya” Festival   The College of Science at Al-Nahrain University hosted the fourth “My Abaya” festival, organized by the Al-Abbas Holy Shrine, on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Lady Fatima al-Zahra (PBUH).   The Dean of the College of Science, Professor Dr. Asmaa Hadi Mohammed, expressed her happiness with this blessed occasion, praising the efforts made in organizing the festival and emphasizing the importance of adhering to the noble values represented by Lady al-Zahra (PBUH).   Sheikh Abd al-Sada al-Jabri, representative of the Al-Abbas Holy Shrine, delivered a speech highlighting the virtues and legacy of Lady al-Zahra (PBUH) and called on the attendees to emulate her great qualities.   During the festival, faculty members and students of the College of Science who wear the abaya were honored for their commitment to authentic Islamic values.   The festival aims to promote the values of chastity and emulating the Ahl al-Bayt (PBUH), reaffirming the importance of preserving Islamic heritage and the noble principles of a dignified life.   Public Relations and Government Communications Department Al-Nahrain University Presidency

  شارك رئيس قسم الهندسة الإلكترونية والاتصالات في كلية الهندسة بجامعة النهرين، الأستاذ المساعد الدكتور محمد صبري سالم، في الورشة التدريبية لصيانة وتطوير جهاز الاستطلاع والتنصت DRT التابع لمديرية المعدات الفنية في دائرة العمليات بوزارة الدفاع.   استمرت الورشة لمدة ثلاثة أيام، وشارك فيها نخبة من ضباط ومهندسي الصنف، إلى جانب مجموعة من الأكاديميين والخبراء من جامعة النهرين والجامعة التكنولوجية، بالإضافة إلى ممثلي هيئة التصنيع الحربي. وقد قدم المشاركون حلولًا تقنية مبتكرة لتحسين عمل المنظومة وتطوير برامجها.   تم تنظيم الورشة بحضور مدير الصنف، اللواء المهندس الركن رياض حامد محمود، الذي عبّر عن شكره وتقديره لجميع المشاركين على جهودهم الفعّالة في تعزيز قدرات الحرب الإلكترونية، وذلك من خلال توزيع شهادات تقديرية تكريماً للمساهمات القيمة من جميع الحاضرين. وأكد اللواء رياض على أهمية استمرار العمل لتطوير مفاصل الصنف الأخرى بما يتماشى مع التطورات التكنولوجية الحديثة.   قسم الإعلام والاتصال الحكومي رئاسة جامعة النهرين      Al-Nahrain University Participates in a Training Workshop for the Technical Equipment Directorate of the Ministry of Defense   The head of the Department of Electronic and Communications Engineering at the College of Engineering, Al-Nahrain University, Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammad Sabri Salem, participated in the training workshop on the maintenance and development of the DRT surveillance and eavesdropping device, organized by the Technical Equipment Directorate of the Operations Directorate, Ministry of Defense.   The three-day workshop was attended by a distinguished group of officers and engineers from the department, along with academics and experts from Al-Nahrain University, the University of Technology, and representatives from the Military Industry Commission. They contributed by providing innovative technical solutions to improve the system’s functionality and develop its programs.   The workshop was organized in the presence of the Director of the Department, Major General Engineer Riyad Hamid Mahmoud, who expressed his gratitude and appreciation to all participants for their effective efforts in enhancing electronic warfare capabilities.   ناقشت كلية الطب في جامعة النهرين طالبة الماجستير رسل جعفر داهي من فرع الفسلجة والفيزياء الطبية رسالتها بعنوان “مقارنة التأثير المضاد لجزيئات السيلينيوم النانوية المصنعة بيولوجيًا بوجود وعدم وجود المجال الكهربائي”.   تهدف الدراسة إلى تحضير الجسيمات النانوية SeNPs باستخدام الطريقة البيولوجية، فضلاً عن دراسة تأثير جسيمات السيلينيوم النانوية ضد البكتيريا الإيجابية والسلبية، مع وبدون مجال كهربائي.   تلخص البحث في دراسة تأثير الجسيمات النانوية للسيلينيوم ضد السمية البكتيرية والسمية الخلوية (in vitro و in vivo) مع وبدون مجال كهربائي.   قسم الإعلام والاتصال الحكومي رئاسة جامعة النهرين   Al-Nahrain University College of Medicine Discusses the Comparative Antibacterial Effect of Selenium Nanoparticles   The College of Medicine at Al-Nahrain University discussed the master’s thesis of student Rassel Jaafar Dahi from the Department of Physiology and Medical Physics titled “Comparative Antibacterial Effect of Biologically Synthesized Selenium Nanoparticles with and Without an Electric Field.”   The study aims to prepare SeNPs nanoparticles using a biological method and to investigate the effect of selenium nanoparticles against both Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, with and without an electric field.   The research focuses on studying the impact of selenium nanoparticles on bacterial toxicity and cellular toxicity (in vitro and in vivo) with and without an electric field.   Media and Government Communication Department Presidency of Al-Nahrain University
