  أجرت عميدة كلية اقتصاديات الأعمال في جامعة النهرين، الأستاذة الدكتورة نغم حسين نعمة، توقيع اتفاقية تعاون علمي مشترك مع الأستاذ الدكتور عبد جواد كاظم، عميد كلية النسور الجامعة، بحضور الأستاذة المساعدة الدكتورة سحر فتح الله محمد علي، معاون العميد للشؤون العلمية، ومجموعة من أساتذة الكلية.   تضمنت الاتفاقية مراجعة المناهج الدراسية وتحديثها بما يتناسب مع متطلبات سوق العمل، فضلاً عن التعاون في تطبيق مسار بولونيا وتزويد كلية النسور الجامعة بالمناهج الدراسية المعتمدة في كلية اقتصاديات الأعمال. كما تم الاتفاق على التعاون في مجال تنظيم ورش عمل ودورات تدريبية لأعضاء الهيئة التدريسية والطلاب لتعزيز التفاعل وتبادل الخبرات.   تهدف الاتفاقية إلى تبادل الخبرات والممارسات التعليمية وتنمية المهارات العملية للطلاب، وتطوير برامج تعليمية مشتركة، والعمل على تصميم وتنفيذ برامج أكاديمية مشتركة.   قسم الإعلام والاتصال الحكومي رئاسة جامعة النهرين      Al-Nahrain University Signs a Twinning and Cooperation Agreement with Al-Nisour University College   The Dean of the College of Business Economics at Al-Nahrain University, Prof. Dr. Nagham Hussein Ni’mah, signed a scientific cooperation agreement with Prof. Dr. Abdul Jawad Kazem, the Dean of Al-Nisour University College, in the presence of Assistant Prof. Dr. Sahar Fathallah Mohammed Ali, the Associate Dean for Scientific Affairs, and a group of faculty members.   The agreement includes reviewing and updating the curricula to align with labor market requirements, as well as collaborating on the implementation of the Bologna Process and providing Al-Nisour University College with the approved curricula from the College of Business Economics. It also covers organizing workshops and training courses for faculty members and students to enhance interaction and exchange of expertise.   The agreement aims to exchange educational experiences and practices, develop practical skills for students, and create joint academic programs, as well as work on designing and implementing shared educational initiatives.   Media and Government Communication Department Presidency of Al-Nahrain University

  شاركت كلية هندسة المعلومات في جامعة النهرين في إقامة المؤتمر الدولي للتقنيات الناشئة لإنترنت الأشياء الموثوقة، بالتعاون مع جامعة صنعاء اليمنية وجامعة أوفنبرغ للعلوم التطبيقية الألمانية.   شمل المؤتمر ستة مجالات رئيسية هي: تقنيات وتطبيقات إنترنت الأشياء، الأمن السيبراني، الخصوصية وتكنولوجيا البلوك تشين، الذكاء الاصطناعي، التقنيات الناشئة، الابتكار وريادة الأعمال وتطبيقاتها، وتقنيات الاتصالات والشبكات من الجيل القادم، بالإضافة إلى الأنظمة المدمجة وتصميم الأجهزة.   تم خلال المؤتمر مناقشة 81 بحثاً وورقة علمية في جلسات عمل، وشارك فيه 331 باحثاً من اليمن، بالإضافة إلى 28 دولة عربية وأجنبية. تهدف المشاركة في إقامة المؤتمر إلى تعزيز البحث العلمي وفتح فرص للشراكة البحثية بين جامعة النهرين والجامعات الدولية، مما يساهم في تطوير القدرات العلمية والبحثية للطلاب وأعضاء الهيئة التدريسية. تجدر الإشارة إلى أن بحوث المؤتمر ستنشر في مكتبة IEEE الرقمية.   قسم الإعلام والاتصال الحكومي رئاسة جامعة النهرين    Al-Nahrain University Participates in Organizing the International Conference on Emerging Technologies for Trusted Internet of Things   The College of Information Engineering at Al-Nahrain University participated in organizing the International Conference on Emerging Technologies for Trusted Internet of Things, in collaboration with Sana’a University in Yemen and Offenburg University of Applied Sciences in Germany.   The conference covered six main areas: Internet of Things technologies and applications, cybersecurity, privacy and blockchain technology, artificial intelligence, emerging technologies, innovation and entrepreneurship and their applications, and next-generation communication and networking technologies, as well as embedded systems and device design.   During the conference, 81 research papers and studies were discussed in working sessions, with the participation of 331 researchers from Yemen and 28 other Arab and foreign countries. The goal of hosting the conference was to promote scientific research and create opportunities for research partnerships between Al-Nahrain University and international universities, which would positively impact the development of the scientific and research capabilities of students and faculty members.   استضاف المعهد العالي لتشخيص العقم والتقنيات المساعدة على الإنجاب في جامعة النهرين كورس العقم وأطفال الأنابيب للمجلس العربي للاختصاصات الطبية، بهدف تعزيز مهارات الأطباء في تشخيص العقم.   تهدف محاضرات الكورس إلى تعزيز مهارات الأطباء في تشخيص العقم وتقنيات أطفال الأنابيب، وتقديم تدريبات عملية باستخدام الأجهزة الحديثة المتوفرة في المعهد، فضلاً عن تبادل الخبرات بين أطباء المنطقة العربية وتنسيق التعاون مع المجلس العربي.   برزت أهمية استضافة الكورس في دور المعهد كمرجع علمي وطبي في مجال علاج العقم وأطفال الأنابيب على مستوى الوطن العربي. يُظهر المعهد جاهزيته من خلال تقديم بيئة تعليمية وعملية مدعومة بأحدث الأجهزة والتقنيات.   قسم الإعلام والاتصال الحكومي رئاسة جامعة النهرين     The Higher Institute for Infertility Diagnosis at Al-Nahrain University Hosts the Infertility and IVF Course for the Arab Council   The Higher Institute for Infertility Diagnosis and Assisted Reproductive Technologies at Al-Nahrain University hosted the Infertility and IVF course organized by the Arab Council for Medical Specializations to enhance the skills of doctors in infertility diagnosis.   The course lectures aimed to enhance doctors’ skills in infertility diagnosis and in vitro fertilization techniques, providing practical training using the modern equipment available at the institute. It also facilitated the exchange of experiences between doctors from the Arab region and coordinated cooperation with the Arab Council.   The importance of hosting the course highlights the institute’s role as a scientific and medical reference in the field of infertility treatment and IVF across the Arab world.   ناقشت كلية اقتصاديات الأعمال في جامعة النهرين السيمنار الأول للطالبة مريم حسين بعنوان “تصميم وبناء محفظة ذكية باستخدام لغة بايثون”.   تهدف الدراسة إلى تقديم إطار عمل متكامل لتحسين استراتيجيات الاستثمار باستخدام برنامج Python، مع التركيز على تحليل أسعار الإغلاق الشهرية للمصارف العراقية المدرجة في سوق العراق للأوراق المالية خلال الفترة من 2014 إلى 2024.   تلخص البحث في تقديم مساهمة علمية رائدة من خلال توظيف مكتبات بايثون لتحليل بيانات السوق وتطوير نماذج تنبؤية دقيقة. كما تم تطبيق نماذج مالية وإحصائية باستخدام Python لتحليل البيانات المالية، وتنفيذ تقنيات مثل خوارزميات التعلم الآلي المتمثلة في الغابات العشوائية، والمكونات الرئيسية، وآلة دعم المتجهات، والانحدار الخطي، والانحدار اللوجيستي.   قسم الإعلام والاتصال الحكومي رئاسة جامعة النهرين   -Nahrain University Discusses the Design and Construction of a Smart Portfolio Using Python   The College of Business Economics at Al-Nahrain University discussed the first seminar by Maryam Hussein titled “Design and Construction of a Smart Portfolio Using Python.”   The study aims to provide a comprehensive framework to improve investment strategies using Python, focusing on analyzing the monthly closing prices of Iraqi banks listed on the Iraq Stock Exchange during the period from 2014 to 2024.   The research presents a pioneering scientific contribution by utilizing Python libraries to analyze market data and develop accurate predictive models. Financial and statistical models were applied using Python to analyze financial data and implement techniques such as machine learning algorithms, including random forests, principal components, support vector machines, linear regression, and logistic regression.   Media and Government Communication Department Presidency of Al-Nahrain University

  بمناسبة الاحتفال باليوم العالمي للغة العربية، نظمت كلية التقنيات الأحيائية في جامعة النهرين محاضرة علمية بعنوان “بالضاد نرتقي علماً ومعرفة”، قدمها الدكتور محمد رحمن بدن، أستاذ اللغة العربية في الكلية، بحضور نخبة من الأساتذة والطلبة.   هدفت المحاضرة إلى إبراز أهمية اللغة العربية في بناء المعرفة والإبداع، وتسليط الضوء على دورها في الحفاظ على الهوية الثقافية ومواكبة التطورات العلمية والتقنية الحديثة. كما تناولت المحاضرة إسهامات اللغة العربية في الحضارة الإنسانية وآفاق تطوير استخدامها في مختلف المجالات الأكاديمية والعلمية.   يأتي هذا النشاط ضمن إطار الجهود المستمرة لتعزيز مكانة اللغة العربية والحفاظ على تراثها الغني، ويعكس الاهتمام المتزايد بالاحتفاء بها كلغة علم وإبداع.      The College of Biotechnology at Al-Nahrain University Organizes a Scientific Lecture Titled “With the Arabic Language, We Rise in Knowledge and Understanding”   On the occasion of the International Arabic Language Day, the College of Biotechnology at Al-Nahrain University organized a scientific lecture titled “With the Arabic Language, We Rise in Knowledge and Understanding,” presented by Dr. Muhammad Rahman Badaan, a professor of Arabic language at the college, with the attendance of a number of faculty members and students.   The lecture aimed to highlight the importance of the Arabic language in building knowledge and creativity, focusing on its role in preserving cultural identity and keeping up with modern scientific and technological challenges. The lecture also addressed the contributions of the Arabic language to human civilization and how its use can be developed in various academic and scientific fields.   This event is part of the ongoing efforts to preserve the Arabic language and enhance its status worldwide, reflecting the growing interest in the Arabic language and its heritage.  

  ناقشت كلية التقنيات الأحيائية في جامعة النهرين رسالة ماجستير قدمتها الطالبة سماح أنور ثامر بعنوان “التوصيف الجزيئي لبكتيريا المكورات العنقودية الذهبية المقاومة للكليندامايسين والمعزولة من العينات السريرية”.   هدفت الدراسة إلى الكشف عن مقاومة بكتيريا المكورات العنقودية الذهبية لمضاد الكليندامايسين على المستوى الجزيئي، مع تحديد الأنماط الجينية للعزلات باستخدام تقنيات جزيئية متقدمة. وقد شملت الدراسة جمع 150 عينة من مصادر سريرية متنوعة من مستشفيات بغداد، وتشخيصها باستخدام تقنيات مختبرية متعددة، منها جهاز VITEK 2.   أظهرت النتائج وجود بكتيريا المكورات العنقودية الذهبية في 80 عينة من إجمالي العينات التي تم جمعها. اختبرت الدراسة التأثير المضاد للبكتيريا لثمانية أنواع من المضادات الحيوية تنتمي إلى مجموعات دوائية مختلفة، وكشفت عن مقاومة عدد كبير من العزلات لجميع المضادات الحيوية المستخدمة. كما تم التعرف على الجينات المسؤولة عن هذه المقاومة وتأكيد وجودها في جميع العزلات التي شملتها الدراسة.   تساهم هذه الدراسة في فهم أعمق لآليات مقاومة البكتيريا للعلاج الدوائي، مما يمهد الطريق لتطوير استراتيجيات جديدة لمواجهة مقاومة المضادات الحيوية.        Al-Nahrain University Discusses Resistance of Staphylococcus aureus to Clindamycin   The College of Biotechnology at Al-Nahrain University discussed a master’s thesis presented by Samah Anwar Thamer titled “Molecular Characterization of Clindamycin-Resistant Staphylococcus aureus Isolated from Clinical Samples.”   The study aimed to investigate the molecular resistance of Staphylococcus aureus to clindamycin and identify the genetic patterns of the isolates using advanced molecular techniques. The research involved collecting 150 samples from various clinical sources in Baghdad hospitals, which were diagnosed using multiple laboratory techniques, including the VITEK 2 system.   The results revealed the presence of Staphylococcus aureus in 80 samples out of the total collected. The study tested the antibacterial effects of eight types of antibiotics from different drug groups and found that a large number of isolates were resistant to all the antibiotics used. Additionally, the genes responsible for this resistance were identified and confirmed in all the isolates studied.   This research contributes to a deeper understanding of bacterial resistance mechanisms to drug treatments, paving the way for the development of new strategies to combat antibiotic resistance.   Media and Government Communication Department Presidency of Al-Nahrain University
